The Meera & Faisal Saif War

Pakistani Superstar Meera lodged an Official Complaint in Punjab (Pakistan) chief minister's cell against Faisal Saif by claiming that the Film Maker is giving her Death Threats. Meera also said that the Film Maker is the main culprit in the Controversy of her Marriage with Atiq Ur Rehman in Pakistan.

Meera further added that Atiq Ur Rehman who claims to be her husband in none other then an Agent of Faisal Saif. Faisal Saif is trying to defame Meera's reputation by creating some Fake Pictures of her and Atiq Ur Rehman performing marriage. When the press and media approached Film Maker Faisal Saif, Saif clearly denied all the allegations attacking from Meera.

Meera further promised Press and Media the Audio Recording recorded From Telephonic Conversation between Faisal Saif and Meera. Meera did showed that recording to the Press and Media where Faisal Saif in return said that it was all a Mis Understanding which can be cleared. Meera later took back the Death Threat allegation against Faisal Saif but she is still determine to file a Case against Film Maker.

Meera Completes Faisal Saif's Quicky Thriller

Pakistani Superstar Meera will make a Come Back with Faisal Saif's quicky Psychotic Thriller tentatively titled "Murder At Farm House".

Faisal Saif completed this Feature Film within a span of 1 month in the area of Punjab (India). The film is being produced by Das Music and it has newfind Abhishek Kumar in the Main Lead along with the Pakistani Star. This film is however in some Controversies regarding some personal quarrels in between Meera and Faisal Saif.

The film is said to be a Horror Psycho Thriller based on 7 Main Charecters and One Farm House as the only Location in the Movie. The film is slated to release in the month of January End.

Faisal Saif's Next On Prostitution

It is learnt that Faisal Saif is about to start a film on High Class Prostitution in India which will have some International Names involved in it. Faisal earlier also had an Unfinished Film on this same issue which was titled "Sofia".

According to News, Faisal will immidiately start this film once his most awaited controvesial film "Osama" get's released. Indian controversial journalist Suhaib Ilyasi has joined hands with Faisal Saif to produce this film along with Das Music backing up. Suhaib Ilyasi was not available for any comments but it is said during the filming of Osama, Faisal discussed this project with him and he immidiately agreed to produce this film. Faisal Saif, As usual remained un available to give his words on this. But his Associates confirmed this news. Suhaib is again planning another film with this Controversial Film Maker which would be a Pure Love Story.

How far is this film different from his Un Finished "Sofia", We would have to wait till the film gets rolled.

When I was filming Osama, I was really not satisfied with the outcome. I really needed a more mature looking Osama. Hence we stopped the filming in the mid-way. When I approached Ali Haider for its music, He came up with his desires in acting. I thought why not try him out in Osama.

I was always a follower of Ali Haider’s music. People always remember him for his track “Purani Jeans” but apart from that song, Ali has also composed some great tracks. Ali’s music had played a very important role in my personal life. In short words, I am a die hard Ali Haider fan.

Why not Hrishitaa Bhatt this time?

I and Hrishitaa worked on very comfortable notes. We did Jigyaasa together and it is still remembered. If we work again, Trust me it will be much bigger than Jigyaasa.

Maybe I will be starting again my On Hold feature film Sofia. I am looking for an International Actress to play the title part. Still i have not decided anything as of now.

We did not shot the film, We only shot few scenes with her. And I was not satisfied.

It is said that Siboney Lo was drunk on the set created a fight with an Indian Actress Jaya Bhattacharya, Just because Siboney was feeling insecure with her acting skills?

This is baseless. Whoever told you this is wrong. As far as Jaya Bhattacharya is concerned, She is a very talented actress and an understanding woman at the same time. And by the way, Siboney Lo who?

What is Sofia all about?

FS
Sofia is based on a True Story. It tells this story of a Rich Nymphomaniac Woman who is tired of her routine life and later on joins in High Class Prostitution in Mumbai for Adventure Sake. This is the journey of this woman. This film again has a very Dark Atmosphere.

Why do you always choose Dark Films and Dark Stories?

FS
I believe in telling stories that are real and not fake. Somewhere down the line, I do try to add commercialism into it. But to an extent. I don’t try to force commercialism into it. Maybe this was the reason that Sofia was rejected by 4 to 5 producers.

Pakistani Rockstar Ali Haider As Osama!

“Purani Jeans aur Guitar...” if you remember these lyrics then you obviously remember the singer, Ali Haider too. This Pakistani singer will soon be seen as the lead actor in Faisal Saif's Osama. Ali Haider is all excited about his debut in Hindi films. He is not only acting but also composing the music in the film. Another one goes the Himesh Reshammiya way. The film will also feature a debutante actress opposite Ali Haider. The shoot is expected to start by end of November or the first week of December. The location for the shoot would include Mumbai, Kashmir, Belgium, Afghanistan, and Miami. The film will be ready for a release next summer.

Ali Haider has already recorded three songs for the Film. Faisal Saif said "Ali Haider's music played some very important role in my personal life. I think in India, I am the biggest fan of Ali Haider. And when i got this opportunity to cast him in Osama, I said let's do it". The last was Pakistani Actress Meera who debuted in Hindi Film Industry with Mahesh Bhatt's Nazar. And now it's Ali Haider's turn to take bollywood by storm! Earlier a new actor from Marathi Cinema Pushkar Jog was supposed to do Osama. But sources claimed that the actor was showing Tantrums after the film was shot for 20% and Pushkar was shown the door.

Gauri Karnik May Head The Cast Of Osama

There's a buzz in the media that Faisal Saif may approach the critically acclaimed actress Gauri Karnik to play an important role in the film Osama. Gauri and Faisal are very good friends. Earlier Gauri has worked with Faisal in an Advertisement Commercial film for Shreylok.

Gauri was also Lead Actress for Faisal Saif's on-hold feature film"Sofia". Faisal however remained lip-tied about this news and said "It will be an honor if Gauri agrees to work in Osama. It is very easy to convince Kamal Hassan, But very hard to convince Gauri Karnik" Smiled Faisal Saif. Many people earlier had said that Gauri Karnik is very selective when it comes to films. Her future releases will be a film with Ace Malayalam Film Maker Rajeev Kumar and Vikram Bhatt directed "Fear".

"Yeah! You spelled it right! It's NOT Confidence but CON-FI-DENCE! That is what you have to have in any business you're in. Be it some Multi National stuff or a Film Making business. To survive in such a Materialistic world, You must be able to play games according to your own way. Orelse, You're FIRED!

I never knew what the real film making was. I learnt it here, After i made films. Before that i only had passion and confidence. According to me, You don't need any books or institute to become a Film Maker. All you need is Confidence in you. Every institute and books will only teach you the Basics of Film Making. The 'BASICS' in my words are 'ACTION' & 'CUT' that is it... But the real film making is that you learn on the floor... While you make a FILM!

You must have the power to CONVINCE. Convince the Funders, Convince the Actors, Convince the Producers Etc. Once you have convinced all of them than the Audiences or the Viewers are easily convinced by you. The bottom line is that you as a Film Maker are here to make a dream. And in a DREAM... Anything is possible! It is just the way how you fantasize your dream. For this power of convincing everyone.... You need CONFIDENCE!! If you have a Confidence... You are the FILM MAKER!!!

Filming Osama

It's great... Finally Faisal Saif and his unit is back to Mumbai.

"It was a great experience Filming Osama in a very sensitive and controversial areas of Kashmir. I was damn scared. But also very excited. Before leaving Mumbai, I got a Threat from a small actor on TV called Akshay Sethi (Last seen in Saat Phere on Zee TV) that i must change my actor Pushkar Jog and cast him instead. But i ignored it and went ahead. We shot several sensitive places there in Kashmir. Places such as Hazratbal, Baramulla, Laal Chowk, Kud Etc. But it was Baramulla where we shot the scene where Osama performs his Salaats" Explains Faisal.

There Faisal and his unit witnessed 4 to 5 Afghani looking men arrived on the sets and asked for the actor Pushkar Jog and Faisal Saif. When they approached them, They came with few questions such as what is this film all about? Why were they shooting this film here? Etc. Etc.

A still photographer clicked thier pictures and they noticed this. Then suddenly they disappeared. Faisal still recieves some threatening messages on his Cell Phone. Well as the Singer Shibani Kashyap says in one of the songs from Osama... "Where will this Journey take us.. We don't know". But what we know is that Faisal and the unit of Osama are not safe.Faisal is planning to take the help of Local Police and Press as well. "I don't know who they were. But i definately know that they were not happy with something... What??? I could not figure that out!" says Faisal.

"But anyways! I was really happy to film Kashmir. The best place was Hazratbal. I went at that place and i was crying. I was crying like a baby. They say whatever you wish for in Hazratbal, It comes true. I hope so! Even i made few prayers and wishes there. Insha Allah! It will come true. I am confident because when i came out of that place, I feel like i am Re-Born! I feel like i am Pure! But i was still crying! Crying like a Baby!" explains Faisal emotionally.

Shibani Kashyap In Osama

For the first time fans of the Hottest Indian Singer Shibani Kashyap will get a chance to see thier favourite singer acting infront of the camera. Shibani plays an important role in Faisal Saif's latest feature film Osama. Shibani has also composed the music of the feature film. This is the first time where she will be composing the entire Film Album. Prior to this film she had only composed one or two tracks for all her previous films.

Shibani has recorded the first song of the film Osama called "Yaar Mera"...

Yaar Mera, According to Faisal is soft romantic number that is in the style of Late Nazia Hasan western-sufi combo. Shibani will soon record the remaining song of the film which starts filming from 15th August 2007.

Sofia.. And Some Bad Politics...

As we mentioned earlier that Film World is the world where you may find the world's most Bad Politics being played everytime...

It happened with Faisal while he was making SOFIA in December 2006. Faisal never found a proper producer for this feature film because of it's hard content. This script was rejected by several producers in first place. Finally Aushim Khetarpal came in and wanted to produce it. Faisal went ahead and called in actress Siboney Lo from miami USA to play the title role. The filming started with some positive notes but ended in a war!

Finally the film is stuck on hold and Faisal is informed that it is only he who can complete the film as it is registered under his name. But seriously speaking, Faisal is really not interested to work on this film any further. Because of one of the Cast Member who has disrespected Faisal always and had played few Bad Politics on him. So Faisal decided to give a No Objection Letter to the producer so that he can complete the film with somebody else as a Director. The producer is now very happy with Faisal except for the actress Siboney Lo.

Sources claimed that Siboney Lo was drunk on the sets of Sofia and mis-behaved with an respected actress from india named Jaya Bhattacharya. Few press people were also present at that time when the incident took place. One press Journalist also claimed that Siboney Lo felt insecure by the performance of her fellow actress Jaya Bhattacharya.

"No! I am not great! But i just don't want to work with un-professionals" said Faisal.

Come December

Come December... Yet To Be Released!

According to the Producer/Actor Aushim Khetarpal, He is finding the right time to release this film worldwide. This film was made before Jigyaasa. But due to some delays better known to the producer the film is yet to be released. Almighty knows when Aushim Khetarpal will find the right time...

The film talks about Homosexuality and Aids. Faisal Saif recieved BEST STORY award from Indianapolis LGBT Film Festival in November 2006. We hope this film sees the light of the day

Jigyaasa

Jigyaasa released on 10th March 2006 worldwide...

The most controversial and shocking feature film of Indian Cinema that made Faisal Saif an overnight talked about director. This is the film that will always make Faisal proud as a Film Maker. This film gave him an unforgettable stand in the Indian Film Industry. According to Saif, Hrishitaa Bhatt who played the title role did full justice to the part and lived the role to an extent.

This film also showed Faisal his real friends and enemies in the Film World. There were people who played a lot of Dirty Politics while the film was being made. Especially an actor who is also a part of this film. But life goes on and you continue to do your work. The film finally released on 10th March.
